Emails from spammers

Posted in SEO in general by Marcus Westberg on the January 25th, 2008

Many SEO´s frequently gets spammed by link exchange emails.

One of them (not me) reacted and sent them back this:

THIS IS RIDICULOUS, if anyone send me again, any site for LINKEXCHAGE… i will gonna kick his ass and gonna fuckoff that site ( now don’t ask me, how i gonna fuck off your site )

Once again, my humble request to all. Please remove me from your mail list.

Thanks for understand me.

Haha! well I can agree. Sometimes you get really tired of all these mails… Not to talk about spam comments sent to Wordpress installations. I have left this site untouched for a while and man do I have a lot of cleaning to do now.

Very funny, but I see what you mean. It’s annoying to delete all the spam you get every day from different places!

Yeah, we did get that once, and I think its important to scan the site to make sure if the other guy is actively exchanging links, rather than just piss off a lot off webmasters. :)

Spam can get very tedious. It is annoying to delete and sort through you actual real emails that can be important. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to prevent it fully from happening at all.

Particularly irritating are the automated ones I continually seem to get, with bad spelling and poor to non-existent grammar. Just fills up my inbox and gets right on my nerves. Great retort there.

I can understand the frustration, but link exchanges are often useful and can provide a valuable service to those visiting a site.

I must agree that things are much annoying when you are just a regular user, now I imagine when you are a webmaster, Spams must be x10 or even more.
