Insert Meta Description and Keywords to your posts

Optimize your wordpress blog posts by adding description and keyword tags

  • Head Meta Description for Wordpress
  • Some search engines display the Description meta data for a page in a search result. Since Wordpress normally uses the same meta data for all the posts on your site, this could be a problem. This plugin builds a dynamic automated description meta tag for each post based on the page content.

    Keywords
Ok now that description is done its time for some meta keyword making. One BIG minus with keywords is that you got to have them static (same for all posts) and not dynamic like the meta desription.
To write some keywords simly open and edit: wp-content/themes/yourselectedtheme/header.php and insert keywords metatags under title.

You can of course aso add author, robots etc.

I someone finds an automated keyword generator I´ll be happy to know about it. I know keywords no longer give you as much weight for SEO purposes as it used to do but still would be nice to know anyway.

Though not automated the following plugin gives you the ability to have keywords on a per-post basis, and I consider it complementary to mine:
